Born at Szczecin, where my parents srettled down as post-war refugees from the Soviet-occupied eastern zone, I spent my formative years and studied art in Cracow, at that time – nest of Polish hipisism, pacifism, buddhism.
I studied visual arts, but my heart was always as much into music, – I do guitar, ethno-electronics, participated in introducing punk scene, and recent improvisation scene in Poland.
All my life I’ve been pretty nomadic – traveling, hiking, painting and performing in the streets of European metropoles as well as esconded mountain sites – having served a prison sentence too – for refusal to military service.
Somwhere along the way I’ve got introduced to macrobiotic ideology and practice, that led me to study in London and Kiental.
I wouldn’t describe myself as a painter, nor a musician alone, nor an oriental healing pracrticioner, last of all a traveler, but what I always tried to live is a stance of a thinker, calm on the crisscross of new philosophies and cultural fads, responding my personal way to the impact of beauty, passing landscapes, friendships, challenges of the day, to my best understanding trying to follow, incorporate and express the Universal Principle.
